ABOUT ABOUT

The Stone Age launched the long process of humankind’s turning its labor over to tools.

The Bronze and Iron Ages propelled the species forward by adding smelting and steel to its metallurgical repertoire.

And by the Age of Reason, our ancestors discovered that rational change was as critical to the improvement of their lives.

Where will the Age of A.I. take us? Sure, to driverless cars, lightning-fast pharmaceutical development and lethal drones. But will it also lead to the outsourcing of thinking?

In The Age of A.I., three of America’s most accomplished thinkers muse on how this new technology might impact our world views, change our societies and affect our very relationship with knowledge.

Diplomat, consultant and author, Henry Kissinger served as the 56th US Secretary of State and the 8th US National Security Advisor.

A software engineer, Eric Schmidt long ran Google and its parent company, Alphabet.

A computer scientist, Daniel Huttenlocher is currently the inaugural dean of the Schwarzman College of Computing at MIT and board chair of the MacArthur Foundation.

Moderated by Roger Hertog, president of the Hertog Foundation, past chaiman of the Tikvah Fund and vice-chairman emeritus of AllianceBernstein LP.
